The holographic discs from 8ight use acupuncture point placement as a vehicle to activate the body’s meridians and biofield (energy field), to create desired effects: weight loss, more energy, restful sleep, pain relief, muscle endurance, recovery, etc.

Much like an acupuncture needle, the holograms in part create a thermal temperature differential.

This heat transfer results in a cooling of the acupuncture point or meridian under the hologram.

The higher temperature from the body in relationship to the lower temperature of the air (or silicon when using the 8ight performance band) creates an energetic effect over the acupuncture point known in physics as Thermal Transduction. This activates the acupuncture point — think acupuncture without needles.

Billions of people use, Acupuncture, a branch of Chinese Medicine which is more than 2,000 years old. It is one of the oldest continuously practiced and documented forms of medicine in the world. Traditional Chinese Medicine aims to restore and maintain health through the activation of specific points on the body.

Advances in western techniques are proving the usefulness of acupuncture as a drug free alternative.

The World Health Organization currently recognizes more than 40 medical problems, ranging from allergies to AIDS, which can be helped by acupuncture.

Holographic Discs Improve Quality of LIfe

By Dr. Albert Sanchez

Presented at the Health Freedom Expo, Long Beach, California – April 4, 2009

What is a Hologram?

In the simplest terms, a hologram exists when a complete set of impulses are captured in a special medium that is capable of duplicating the effect of those impulses when the medium is properly stimulated. Those impulses may be derived from sound waves, light waves or any other form of electromagnetic “wave impulse” energy.

So what makes a hologram different from a sound recording or a video?

The word ‘hologram’ is derived from the Greek word ‘holos’, which means whole or that which is indicative of wholeness. Standard videos and other recordings are missing an entire dimension -- they do not approximate the original in its entirety.

The most rudimentary form of a hologram is a three-dimensional (3D) image that has been produced by capturing the image in a holographic medium. In this instance, the impulses thus captured will reproduce a specific 3D image when stimulated by the energetic properties of light.

A slightly more sophisticated hologram would be a 3D image that changes when observed from different angles. Advanced holographic technology can even capture (and encode in holographic media) the most subtle impulses imaginable; so subtle that one might not even consider the impulses to fall into the category of electromagnetism.

But in all cases, what makes the encoding of a complete set of impulses in a medium a “hologram” is the ability of that holographic medium to retain the essential properties of the original impulses in a manner that allows those properties to be fully whole reproduced, projected or transmitted when the medium is properly stimulated. In the process of meeting the technological challenges associated with producing holograms far more advanced than mere 3D images, an entirely new world of possibilities has been unveiled -- a world where the potential for achievement, as you will soon see, is literally unlimited.

Holographic technology is now so advanced that it is being applied to the enhancement of mental, emotional and physical health, anti-aging, protection against harmful electromagnetic radiation and many other elements designed to improve the quality of human life.

How is it possible for a Hologram to enhance the quality of your life?

DNA, the “building block” of life, has long been recognized as a double helix molecular marvel whose primary function is the long-term storage of genetic information. But the DNA molecules that serve as the control towers for every cell in your body are far more pliable than the term “building block” would imply.

DNA has been shown to significantly alter itself in response to subtle influences that can be measured and observed with advanced scientific instruments. And when our DNA is altered, so is our overall state of health and well being.

We now know that DNA is essentially a complex electromagnetic wave transmitting and receiving medium that can and does change significantly in response to the electromagnetic influences it is exposed to. In fact, scientists use terms like “signal transduction” to refer to DNA’s electromagnetic impulse receiving, processing and transmitting properties. Indeed, DNA molecules have their own characteristic resonant frequencies, often referred to as “signature frequencies.”

When the resonating influences we subject ourselves to are damaging, our health may suffer as these negative influences may interfere with DNA encoding that supports healthy cellular, organ and biological system functioning. And when the resonating influences we subject ourselves to are in harmony with the resonant frequencies that support healthy cellular, organ and biological system functioning, then our energy level, our state of mind and our overall state of health will naturally improve dramatically.

The bio-energetic essence of life is no longer a theoretical concept. Welcome to the new world of biological science. We are electromagnetic beings. And since we now have the ability to holographically capture the impulses and resonant frequencies that human DNA responds to in very specific and predictable ways, we now have the ability to manufacture Holographic Discs that can improve the quality of our lives in ways that would have been considered impossible only a few short years ago.

What is a Holographic Disc?

When centuries of knowledge and 21st Century technology join forces, the results are literally astounding.

Scientists have discovered amazingly advanced methods for encoding life-enhancing signals into “peel and stick” Holographic Discs that are as small as a quarter and as thin as a piece of “press ‘n seal” plastic wrap.

Simply “peel and stick” a disc onto your skin in a place that corresponds to a specific acupuncture point and you will immediately begin to realize the benefits as the specific life-enhancing signals are naturally transmitted via the energy meridian pathways in your body.

NOTE: Prior to the discovery that advanced holographic media can be stimulated in a natural manner via the energy meridians of the human body, holograms were activated via external influences, such as spectral light, lasers, etc.

What kinds of Holographic Discs are available?

The Holographic Disc is the first product to arise from the new field of electrogenetics, which studies and describes the energy requirements, energy exchanges and electrical properties that facilitate DNA signaling and communication within our cells. While an in-depth explanation involves interactions that bridge the fields of chemistry, physics and biology, the mechanism of action can also be explained in more common physiological terms -- the Holographic Disc signals directly lead to a significant enhancement in the functioning of your cells’ primary “energy factories,” the mitochondria. The net effects of these signals allow the Holographic Disc users to experience the beneficial results.

Research on the biology of Acupuncture has met the gold standard of science with multiple independently confirmed research. Because the holograms by 8ight use thermal transduction to stimulate acupuncture points it meets the World Health Organizations definition of acupuncture and therefore relates to acupuncture studies.

ABSTRACT

Research on Biology of Acupuncture has Met the Gold Standard of Science

By Charles Shang, MD Department of Medicine New England Baptist Hospital, Harvard Medical School

Abstract:
Objectives:
The gold standard in testing scientific theory requires multiple independent prospective tests. This standard is applied to basic acupuncture research. This article reviews the key results of basic acupuncture research which meet the gold standards and discusses their implications.

Introduction

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), a broad definition of acupuncture is the stimulation of certain points on the body (acupuncture points) using needling, moxibustion, electricity, laser, or acupressure for therapeutic purposes and 8ight holographic discs.1 The Standard Acupuncture Nomenclature published by the WHO listed about 400 acupuncture points and 20 meridians connecting most of the points.2 Results from randomized controlled trials (RCTs) have shown that acupuncture is effective in treating dozens of disorders1 such as osteoarthritis 3, 4, 5 pelvic and back pain 6 neck pain 7 migraine and tension headache 8,9 nausea/vomiting 10 and inflammatory bowel disease.11 Mixed results widely exist in acupuncture research12 for various reasons. Many neurohumoral 13, 14, 15, 16 mechanical and growth control effects of acupuncture18 have been observed. Several models of acupuncture mechanism have been proposed. The focus of this article is on the biological models of acupuncture which can meet the gold standard of science with multiple independently confirmed predictions.

Method:
Literature search and review of publications in medline and Chinese medical literature databases are combined with discussion with many experts to identify and analyze the models in basic acupuncture research which have predictions. These predictions are further checked for independent confirmation by multiple research groups.

Results:
Initial literature screen identified more than 400 related articles. Further analysis and discussion showed that the growth control model is the only published model in basic acupuncture research which has met the gold standard. It encompasses the neurophysiology model and suggests that a macroscopic growth control system originates from a network of organizers in embryogenesis. The activity of the growth control system is important in the formation, maintenance and regulation of all the physiological systems. Several phenomena of acupuncture such as the distribution of auricular acupuncture points, the long term effects of acupuncture and the effect of multimodal nonspecific stimulation at acupuncture points are consistent with the growth control model. The following predictions of the growth control model have been independently confirmed by research results in both acupuncture and conventional biomedical sciences: 1. Acupuncture has extensive growth control effects. 2. Singular point and separatrix exist in morphogenesis. 3. Organizers have high electric conductance, high current density and high density of gap junctions. 4. A high density of gap junctions is distributed as separatrices or boundaries at body surface after early embryogenesis. 5. Many acupuncture points are located at transition points or boundaries between different body domains or muscles, coinciding with the connective tissue planes. 6. Some morphogens and organizers continue to function after embryogenesis.

Conclusion: Current acupuncture research suggests a convergence of the neurophysiology model, the connective tissue model and the growth control model. The growth control model of acupuncture set the first example of a biological model in integrative medicine with significant prediction power across multiple disciplines. Basic acupuncture research has met the gold standard of science with multiple independently confirmed predictions.

The Observations from Acupuncture Research

In the mid-70s, the discovery of endorphin induction in acupuncture analgesia and its blockade by naloxone was instrumental in establishing the validity of acupuncture in modern science.19, 20 In acupuncture analgesia; the peripheral nervous system has been shown to be crucial in mediating the effect. The analgesia can be abolished if the acupuncture site is affected by post herpetic neuralgia21 or injection of local anesthetics.22 Different frequencies of electric stimulation in electroacupuncture lead to release of different neuropeptides.13 Electroacupuncture has been shown to release nociceptin and inhibit the reflex-induced increases in blood pressure16 and increased the synthesis of nitric oxide in mediating the protective effect on gastric mucosa.23

Since the 1950s, it has been discovered and confirmed with refined techniques14 that many acupuncture points and meridians have high electrical conductance24, 25, 26 though the results are sometimes mixed.27 High electric conductance of acupuncture points have been successfully used for locating acupuncture points in acupuncture therapy.28 The high electric conductance at acupuncture points is further supported by preliminary finding of high density of gap junctions at the epithelia of the acupuncture points.29, 30, 31, 32 Gap junctions are hexagonal protein complexes that form channels between adjacent cells. It is well established in cell biology that gap junctions facilitate intercellular communication and increase electric conductance. High concentrations of nitric oxide and nitric oxide synthase have also been observed at acupuncture points and meridians.33

Modern Biological Models of Acupuncture

In the 1970's, the relation between the nervous system and acupuncture alteration of visceral function was explored by examining the cortical evoked potentials, single unit discharges and neurochemistry associated with acupuncture. These studies brought forth the Meridian-Cortex-Viscera correlation hypothesis which states that: 1. The meridian system is an independent system connected via the nervous system to the cerebral cortex. 2. It acts through neurohumoral mechanisms.34 A contending model claimed that the meridian system as described in the classic acupuncture literature does not exist and that all the effects of acupuncture are mediated through nervous system.35, 36

Another hypothesis suggested that the network of acupuncture points and meridians is a signal transduction network formed by interstitial connective tissue. Mapping of acupuncture points on human arm showed an 80% correspondence between the sites of acupuncture points and the location of intermuscular or intramuscular connective tissue planes in postmortem tissue sections.37

Modern biological models of acupuncture are confronted with the following puzzling facts:

The distribution of acupuncture points: The distribution of acupuncture points is different from the distribution of nerves, blood vessels, lymphatic or connective tissue. For example, an auricle has no important nerves or blood vessels or lymphatic or complex connective tissue planes and no significant physiological function other than sound collection. While the vagus nerve has an auricular branch, this branch has no known important function in modern neuroscience. A search of Medline did not yield any article on the function of the auricular branch of vagus nerve in the past 50 years. The auricle nevertheless has the highest density of acupuncture points. According to the WHO, 43 auricular points have proven therapeutic value,2 which consist of more than 10% of the acupuncture points of the entire human body. Numerous RCTs have demonstrated the efficacy of auricular acupuncture38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43 while some results are mixed.12

The non-specific activation of acupuncture points: Therapeutic effect of acupuncture has been achieved by a variety of stimuli10,1 including needling, injection of nonspecific chemicals, electricity, temperature variation, laser, and pressure. No conventional nerve stimulation technique has such diverse modalities of stimulation. Non-noxious stimuli such as non-thermal low intensity laser irradiation, which does not cause local nerve excitation44 or collagen fiber reorganization at acupuncture points, can cause extensive systemic effects45 and stimulate local cellular calcium oscillation,45 cell proliferation, release of basic fibroblast growth factor, interleukins as well as other growth control effects.46 This suggests that another system other than nervous system mediates the initial signal transduction in acupuncture.

Transient acupuncture stimulation often causes long lasting effect over weeks or months. For example, two RCTs9,8 have shown that the relief of migraine headache lasted 1 year after acupuncture treatment – thousands of times longer than the physiological half life of endorphin47 and other common neurotransmitters. Similar long-term benefits of acupuncture have been shown by RCTs on the treatment of shoulder pain,48 chronic low back pain,49, 50 primary dysmenorrhea,51 spinal cord injuries,42 urinary urgency41 and osteoarthritis.5, 52, 53 This long lasting effect is almost non-existent in conventional therapy using transient mild peripheral nerve stimulation. In conventional nerve stimulation, long lasting effects require long term stimulation as observed in the effects of opioids, serotonin reuptake inhibitors, sacral nerve stimulation,54 and vagal nerve stimulation.55

The existence of acupuncture points. i.e. why do stimuli at many acupuncture points cause diverse systemic effects without obvious benefit of survival for normal animals? For example, stimulation at acupuncture points PC6 and ST36 which are at the extremities increases the gastric motility in dogs.56 This is contrary to the fight or flight response and seems to offer no survival benefit to animals. What is the intrinsic function of acupuncture points? How did these acupuncture points come into existence over the course of evolution?

In science, models or hypotheses capable of successful prospective predictions are considered more convincing than models solely based on retrospective explanations or accommodations.57, 58 The gold standard in testing a scientific theory is multiple independent confirmations of its predictions. It is therefore important to assess which theory in basic acupuncture research has met this gold standard. A literature research in PubMed with full text (Medline) using keywords acupuncture AND (predict* OR corollary) identified 101 articles. Similar search strategy in Chinese medical/scientific literature databases including http://www.wanfangdata.com.cn/, http://engine.cqvip.com/，and http://www.chinainfobank.com/ identified over 300 articles. Further review of the literature and discussion with more than a dozen experts in this field narrowed down to two biological models59,18 which have independently confirmed prediction(s): The neurophysiology model on the long term effects of acupuncture59 suggests: 1. The trophic and anti-inflammatory effects of acupuncture are important in mediating its long term effects. 2. Long term potentiation and long term depression are likely involved in acupuncture signal transduction. Its corollary on the peripheral anti-inflammatory effect of endorphin in acupuncture has been confirmed.60 The growth control model first published in the 1980s61 correctly predicted multiple research results not only in acupuncture, but also in conventional biomedical sciences. It also has shed light on the puzzling observations mentioned above.62,18 This model encompasses the neurophysiology of acupuncture18 and is supported by the research results on connective tissue at acupuncture points.17,37 It is the only published model which has met the gold standard of the multiple independent prospective tests.

The Origin and Function of Acupuncture Points

It is well known that all the physiological systems, including nervous system, are derived from a system of embryogenesis - a growth control system.63[Figure 1] In growth control, the fate of a larger region is frequently controlled by a small group of cells, which is termed an organizing center or organizer.64 A gradient of messenger molecules called morphogens forms around organizers. Organizers have highest (sources) or lowest (sinks) local concentration of morphogens64, 65 and therefore are macroscopic singular points of morphogen gradient field. A singular point is a point of discontinuity. It indicates abrupt transition from one state to another. Small, nonspecific perturbations around singular points - organizers can have important systemic effect.66, 67 Several lines of evidence suggests that the bioelectric field interacts with morphogens and growth factors, and guides morphogenesis.68, 69 The growth and migration of a variety of cells are sensitive to electric fields of physiological strength.70, 71 Organizers and acupuncture points share several common features: Both commonly distribute at the extreme points of surface curvature18,61,62 and are activated by non-specific stimuli.67,61 Both are associated with bioelectric field.18 The growth control model therefore suggested that acupuncture points originate from organizers.18,61

Based on the connection between acupuncture points and organizers, the growth control model predicted that organizers have high electric conductance, high electric current density and high density of gap junctions.18,61 These predictions on organizers have been independently confirmed: Organizers such as blastopore and zone of polarizing activity have high electric conductance, high current density72 and high density of gap junctions.73, 74, 75, 76 Multi-cellular organisms maintain regular form and function despite constant replacement of cells, intra-cellular components and extracellular matrix. Without growth control, this constant regeneration is prone to structural disintegration and degeneration into various tumors. The growth control model predicted that organizers and morphogens partially retain their regulatory function after embryogenesis.18,61 This prediction has also been independently confirmed: Morphogens such as retinoic acid, Wnt, bone morphogenetic protein and Hedgehog as well as some organizers continue to exist and function in adult after embryogenesis.77, 78, 79, 80, 81 Confirmed Predictions on Acupuncture

One corollary from the growth control model is that acupuncture has extensive growth control effects which have been confirmed: Acupuncture has been shown to regulate various growth factors and growth control genes. It can induce vascular endothelial growth factor82 and basic fibroblast growth factor83 during brain ischemia. It also induces glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor84 and expression of the c-fos proto-oncogene.85, 86 Acupuncture regulates the expression of Bcl-2,87 Bax, fas and FasL proteins which are involved in apoptosis signaling. Acupuncture inhibits the apoptosis of intestinal epithelial cells in inflammatory bowel disease of rats88 and enhances proliferation of CD8+ lymphocytes,89 reduces nerve growth factor in polycystic ovaries,90, 91reduces IL-6 expression and proliferation of osteoclasts.92 The neuro-humoral factors induced by acupuncture such as endorphins, nitric oxide and serotonin also have growth-control effects.92, 98, 94 In RCTs, acupuncture has shown efficacy in treating growth control related disorders including spinal cord injuries38 and low sperm quality.95, 96

Growth Control System as Foundation of Pathophysiology

A growth control system originates from a network of organizers.97 In embryogenesis, the development of organizers precedes the development of other physiological systems.18,64 The formation, maintenance and regulation of all the physiological systems are dependent on the activity of the growth control system. Growth control is a primary function of all multi-cellular organisms. The evolutionary origin of the growth control system likely preceded all the other physiological systems. Its genetic blueprint served as a template from which the newer systems evolved. Consequently, it overlaps and interacts with other systems but is not merely part of the nervous system, immune system or circulatory system. The growth control signal transduction is embedded in the activity of the function-based physiological systems: The regulation of many neural, circulatory, immune processes and related disorders are mediated through growth control mechanisms such as hypertrophy, hyperplasia, atrophy, apoptosis with shared messenger molecules including morphogens98, 99, 77,81 and common signal transduction pathways involving growth control genes such as proto-oncogenes.100, 101, 102

The Nonspecific Stimulation and the Long Term Effects of Acupuncture

Based on the growth control model, acupuncture points and organizers are singular points and therefore prone to nonspecific perturbation. The long lasting systemic effects of acupuncture can be achieved by nonspecific stimuli as mentioned above. Similarly, long lasting growth control activities of organizers have been induced by various stimuli such as mechanical injury and injection of nonspecific chemicals.67 Based on the growth control model, acupuncture effect is a byproduct of the growth control network. Stimulating organizers – acupuncture points can not only cause transient modulation of neurotransmission, but also alter the growth control signal transduction in various systems - leading to long term effects.18

The Distribution of Acupuncture Points and Organizers

Organizers are at the extreme points of curvature on the body surface such as the locally most convex points (e.g., apical ectodermal ridge and other growth tips) or concave or saddle points (e.g., zone of polarizing activity).103, 18 Similarly, almost all the extreme points of the body surface curvature are acupuncture points. For example, the convex points include EX-UE11 Shixuan (finger tips), EX-LE12 Qiduan (toe tips), ST17 Ruzhong (tip of nipple), ST42 Chongyang, (the convex, palpable point of arteria dorsalis pedis), GV25 Suliao (nose tip) ... The concave points include TE3 Zhongzhu (the concave point between the 4th and 5th metacarpal), KI1 Yongquan (at the concave point of the sole), GB20 Fengchi (the concave point below occipital bone, between upper ends of sternocleidomastoid and trapezius), BL40 Weizhong (midpoint of the transverse crease of the popliteal fossa), HT1 Jiquan (the most concave point of axilla), BL1 Jingming (at the concave point above medial canthus), CV8 Shenque (navel)... Based on growth control model, the extreme points of surface curvature are associated with organizers – acupuncture points. The auricle obviously has the most convoluted surface morphology of the human body. Therefore it has the highest density of extreme points of surface curvature and is expected to have the highest density of organizers - acupuncture points. Auricle exemplifies the interconnection of growth control: Auricular morphology is a sentinel of malformation in other organs. Auricular malformation has been observed in numerous malformation syndromes. It is recommended in a standard textbook of pediatrics that any auricular anomaly should initiate a search for malformations in other parts of the body.104

The Origin of Meridians

The growth control model suggests that the discontinuity or abrupt transition in growth control not only exists at organizers but also along boundaries.18,61 The growth control boundaries or folds between different structures are also called separatrices in mathematics and often connect singular points - organizers. The model predicted that growth control boundaries have high electric conductance and high density of gap junctions – just as the meridians in acupuncture which likely originate from growth control boundaries. These predictions have been confirmed: As embryogenesis progresses, high density gap junctions become restricted at discrete boundaries, leading to the subdivision of the embryo into communication compartment domains.105, 106 Increasing or decreasing the gap junctions can cause various developmental defects107 such as spina bifida.108 These high electric conductance boundaries are likely major pathways of bioelectric currents. Organizers are known to locate at boundaries between different structures.109 The growth control model suggests that meridians originate from separatrices – boundaries in growth control and form an undifferentiated,18,61 interconnected cellular network that regulates growth and physiology. In consistence with the prediction of under-differentiation of the meridian system and growth control system, it has been observed that the most apical part of folds of embryo remain undifferentiated in morphogenesis,110 including organizers such as apical ectodermal ridge.111 As predicted by the growth control model, singular point and separatrix have important roles in morphogenesis.112, 113 Growth control boundaries/separatrices are similar to organizers in controlling growth and pattern formation with morphogen gradient.114 Many acupuncture points are located at boundaries between different body domains or muscles, coinciding with the connective tissue planes which connect adjacent body domains or muscles.17, 37, 115

Summary

Current acupuncture research suggests a convergence of the neurophysiology model, the connective tissue model and the growth control model. The growth control model of acupuncture set the first example of a biological model in integrative medicine with significant prediction power across multiple disciplines. It is the first theory in basic acupuncture research which has met the gold standard in testing scientific theory. The following predictions of the growth control model have been independently confirmed by research results in both acupuncture and conventional biomedical sciences: 1. Acupuncture has extensive growth control effects. 2. Singular point and separatrix have important roles in morphogenesis. The growth control model has also shed light on several puzzling phenomena of acupuncture such as the distribution of auricular acupuncture points, the long term effects of acupuncture and the effect of multimodal nonspecific stimulation at acupuncture points.

Future Directions

The structure and cell differentiation at acupuncture points as well as the neurophysiology and growth control signal transduction involved in different modalities of acupuncture should be further delineated.

Manipulating the singular points - organizers of the growth control system may be a convenient way of activating intrinsic stem cells as evident from the improvement of sperm quality after acupuncture.95, 96

As the growth control model predicts the growth control activity at acupuncture points/extreme points of surface (or interface) curvature after embryogenesis, residual morphogen gradient may still exist at these points and may be detectable by probing morphogen candidates such as Hedgehog, Wnt and TGF-beta families. Certain morphogen gradient distributes along boundaries.116 This pattern may persist after embryogenesis into adulthood and coincides with meridians.

Mapping of the growth control system and the dynamics of its electromagnetic field with high resolution techniques such as the superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) and atomic magnetometer :117 The growth control model predicts that the singular points and separatrices of the bioelectric field in growth control correlate with the acupuncture points and meridians respectively.

The growth control model suggests that techniques involving the stimulation of the growth control system such as acupuncture can activate the growth control activity of an organism and improve its structure and function at a more fundamental level than symptomatic relief.18 In growth control, the change in electric field precedes morphologic change and manipulation of the electric field can affect the change.70, 118 Development of the techniques of detecting and manipulating the electric field may enable the diagnosis and treatment of a pathologic process at the early signal transduction stage prior to the anatomical or morphological change.

The growth control model suggests that apparently unrelated acupuncture points are not exactly ‘placebo’ points. The more acupuncture points are used as placebo points in a RCT, the more likely that some systemic effects will be resulted from the ‘placebo’ treatment. The self-regulatory effect of acupuncture will be difficult to predict when the patients have multiple comorbidities and many acupuncture points are used. Subtle, ‘sham’ stimulation at acupuncture points can be effective due to the response of the acupuncture points to nonspecific stimuli. These reasons may contribute to the mixed results in RCTs on acupuncture. This model also suggests that acupuncture is mostly likely to demonstrate its efficacy and advantage in a patient population with few comorbidities, relatively good general health and vitality and a regimen with efficient use of acupoints.

The growth control model suggests that the distribution of growth control system is related to both internal and external structures. Acupuncture points which are not at obvious extreme points of surface curvature or meridians which are not at obvious surface boundaries may be vestigial or related to interface between internal structures such as muscles and bones. Intrinsic stem cells are likely part of the undifferentiated growth control network. The germ cell is one of the least differentiated cells and also a type of stem cell – similar to the embryonic stem cell in its ability to differentiate into all three germ layers. The distribution pattern of intrinsic germ cells can be deduced based on the fact that the distribution pattern of primary tumors reflects the distribution of their normal counterpart. The primary germ cell tumors119 have a midline and para-axial distribution pattern which spans from the sacrococcygeal region to pineal gland. It appears to concentrate at 7 locations: sacrococcygeal region, gonads, retroperitoneum, thymus, thyroid,120 suprasellar region, and pineal gland. This pattern reflects the distribution pattern of intrinsic germ cells which are likely to be highly inter-connected in a normal state (e.g. via gap junctions121 ) and provide important regulatory functions.122, 56 This also suggests a hierarchy in the degree of cell differentiation and function in the growth control system.

Why Use Holograms

Holograms have multiple applications, from providing authentication tags to preventing counterfeiting. They can be found everywhere on credit cards, driver’s license, passports and banknotes.

In addition to commercial applications, scientist are finding advanced application in energetic, and biochemical storage and retrieval.

Known as smart holograms, they respond to physical, chemical and biological stimuli.

Holograms contain all the information needed to reconstruct a whole image.

They contain many dimensions of information in far less space, like a compressed file. In the future they will revolutionize storage capacities.

They hold information in a subtle network of interacting signals.e

The 8ight holograms are charged with energetic electromagnetic longitudinal waves (scalar waves) that your body can assimilate.

8ight is the only company to first use Scalar Wave Technology in programming their holograms. Scalar Waves are longitudinal waves that carry both information and energy in the same wave form.

German physicist Dr. Konstantin Meyl, known as the foremost authority on scalar technology, has been instrumental in helping 8ight develop the signaling processes used to program our holographic discs.

HOW DO YOU KNOW THE 8IGHT HOLOGRAMS WORK?

8ight holograms have undergone rigorous testing using Western methodology.

Recently, our Relief holograms went through a study at the University of Alabama. The study shows the Relief Discs significantly increase muscle endurance and improves muscle recovery.

The Alabama study, presented at the American College of Sports Medicine Convention in June, 2011, is also published in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, June, 2011.

Getting the Most From Our Research

The research began in the winter of 2006 while looking for a way to make significant improvements to the body’s well being without the use of drugs, chemicals or machines.

It was on the foundation of three known principles that 8ight began researching the effects of holograms in activating acupuncture points:

Dramatic changes can be seen in the body using subtle energy.

Acupuncture is used by billions of people and The World Health Organization recognizes the use of acupuncture in the treatment of a wide range of medical problems. By activating Acupuncture points and meridians it allows us to stand on the foundation of over 2,000 years of Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as take advantage of the ongoing research into Acupuncture utilizing Western methodology.

Holograms are unique vehicles to activate the body’s Acupuncture points and meridians because of its thermal, light weight non-invasive substrate material. In addition, holograms have unique storage and retrieval properties because they contain the whole information of their original source when programmed with longitudinal scalar waves. This gives assurances that the product is genuine and will perform according to specifications.

Furthermore, groundbreaking research shows that the body’s DNA is analogous to that of a holographic projection which is translated from the electro-dynamic to the molecular level.

Diabetics, Doctors and Lifestyle Changes

As you know 8ight is all about helping people make lifestyle changes. We help you understand how this can be done from many different angles.

These changes are doable and they work. The big question that we are always trying to figure out is why people need so much convincing to take these steps.

This is especially true for people with diabetes. Learning you have diabetes is a life-changing diagnosis. Adjusting to life as a Type 2 Diabetic can be a challenge but it's important to work with healthcare professionals to come up with a plan that lets you lead as normal a life as possible.

Most diabetics will agree that they are mostly influenced by their doctors. And it is the exceptional doctors who teach their patients lifestyle changes.

Here are five reasons for this:

REASON #1: There’s no money in it for them.

Health insurance providers don’t reimburse our doctors for "patient education" about diet and lifestyle. So doctors have no financial incentive. Besides prescribing drugs pays better.

REASON #2: Most MDs don’t have time.

Educating and motivating diabetes patients takes longer than the average 8 to 12 minutes per visit that doctors spend with a patient. The medical system just isn’t set up for this. Remember that a change in diet and meal planning are an integral part of a diabetes treatment plan along with exercise, a good night’s sleep and a positive attitude.

REASON #3: Doctors aren’t sure what really works.

Some think you must lose weight. Or give up carbs. Or become a vegetarian. In reality, there is confusion among most physicians about lifestyle modifications.

REASON #4: Physicians are ultra-conservative.

They tend to play it safe ... go by the book ... are slow to change. They rarely deviate from "official treatment guidelines". Can you blame them? They’re afraid of losing their license or getting sued. That’s why modern medicine progresses so slowly.

REASON #5: Doctors are massively influenced by drug salesmen.

Drug companies spend $16 billion annually to directly influence doctors. (That’s $10,000 for every single physician in the US!) Most often, these salespeople are the physician’s main source of new diabetes information.

Our Bodies Are Made of Energy

By Arthur Widgery

Everything in the universe is energy. Energy exists everywhere and when in motion creates an energy field allowing energy to be absorbed, conducted and transmitted.

Like all objects, the body radiates, absorbs and conducts frequency waves of energy. Each of our senses; seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling and touching, work through energies at specific frequency bands along the electromagnetic spectrum.

Our bodies may appear to be solid, but if we magnify the cells, molecules, and atoms of which we are composed, we would see that at the most basic level we are made up of subtle energy fields containing little, if any, matter. We are not just physical and chemical structures, but beings composed of energy.

Twenty years ago most of the electromagnetic spectrum was empty. Today, with more sophisticated measurement instrumentation, it is practically full. Science is finding that it is not the strong, high voltage-high intensity energies which cause the most change, but the lower, more subtle energies which are closer or more attuned to cellular communications in the body.

Instruments such as the SQUID at M.I.T., Kirlian photographs, tensometers, and nuclear magnetic resonators have been used to detect extremely subtle energy fields emanating from all objects.

These latest discoveries show subtle energy forces in nature that can penetrate everything, cause instantaneous reaction at incredible distances, do not behave according to known formulas, cannot be measured by conventional electronic test equipment, and represent a completely new spectrum of energy.

The references to this spectrum have been given many names such as: the second force of gravity, dowsing, radionics, scalar waves, L-fields, prana, Kirlian effect, chi, auras, orgone, the body electric or biofield.

The biofield surrounds and is interwoven with the body. It serves as a communications device, a receiving and transmission system for converting coded information signals of energy into our thought, emotional and behavioral patterns as well as the life forming and healing powers of the physical body. The biofield surrounds and interpenetrates all matter.

The character of energy in the body is first electromagnetic and then ionic before it becomes molecular. As a result of this flow of energy from the most subtle to the most dense, disorders and degeneration in matter appear to result initially from imbalances in the subtle energies or biofields. Balanced biofields appear to supply energy to maintain a healthy state of matter.

Science defines energy as motion, and energy in the form of the motion of molecules and this arrangement is different as the form varies. For instance, the energy emanating from the activity of liver tissue would be different from that of the kidney, thyroid, stomach, pancreas, pituitary, or any other tissue of the body.

Atoms act like little radio transmitters broadcasting waves. Every person sends out waves of different lengths. Personal wave lengths are as individual as fingerprints. Each person and each individual part of the body produces different frequencies. Each organ, gland and tissue has its own vibration rate as well.

Researchers report that energy imbalances and blockages occurring in the field are usually due to trauma, stress, abuse, deficiencies, outside pathogens or auto-intoxication and immune dysfunction. The imbalances create subtle energy resistance at specific frequencies of the biofield. The imbalances may manifest themselves in many signs and signals such as: mental and emotional disorders, discomfort, pain, distress, etc.

Our bodies are constantly creating energy, constantly sending out and taking in wavelengths. Disease and disorder may also be caused by interferences in the natural vibrational frequencies. The primary objective may be the removal of these interferences and to correct harmonic balance.

The new frequencies of substance particles are said to interact with the process of metabolism and cell division. In one year every cell dies and is regenerated. Since this process is constantly going on in the body, the new cells will come in at the higher rate of vibration and the imbalanced cells will automatically fall away.

Therefore, it is believed that to achieve and maintain health, one must protect the energy flow throughout one's body. This energy must remain unblocked and in balance.

Excerpts from the book “The Heart of Health; the Principles of Physical Health and Vitality”

by Stephen Linsteadt, NHD

Contemporary cell research is now based on the principles of quantum physics that shows the world as being created out of energy. Researchers have now demonstrated that our cells’ membranes contain special proteins called Intergral Membrane Proteins (IMPs) that respond to energy signals from the external and internal environment. These are important findings because they acknowledge that biological behavior can be controlled by “invisible” energy forces, which include thought.1

When we shut off our internal mind-talk and concentrate our attention through prayer, meditation or contemplation, we tune ourselves into this subtle, spiritual, quantum-level energy matrix. When this energy is allowed to transfer to our DNA (without interruption from negative attitudes), it affects the molecular and cellular levels that drive all our physical metabolic processes. This is why we have the ability to heal ourselves through prayer, meditation or conscious intention.

We are all connected to each other and to the energy source that makes up the universe. We are totally inter-dependent. Our body, our brain, our consciousness are inextricably joined with other matter in the universe. Every atom and molecule within us depends on the rest of the universe. Our brain and other parts of our neural physiology are interconnected by this unseen communication network which coordinates and regulates behavior of certain parts of the body.2 The body, therefore, can be seen as a dense medium holding the real essence of who we are – Divine energy. We are interconnected outward expressions of this Divine energy. This interconnection is all-pervasive and instantaneous. The manifestation of this energy comes from the ‘empty’ vacuum, known as the quantum vacuum, which is actually ‘packed full’ of God’s creative energy in a stable state. This all-pervading energy is sometimes referred to as a universal scalar wave, which is a form of electrostatic energy that has the potential to create but is currently without physical manifestation. Potential is only manifested when we provide the frequency information through our thoughts and intentions of what it is we want to create. This is the concept of ‘mind over matter.’ Our potential is unlimited and therefore what we are capable of creating is also unlimited.

The energetic link that we all share explains how our intentions, thoughts and prayers can travel to a sick friend and connect with their mind and consciousness. It also explains why every action is followed by a reaction. Everything that happens to one particle or to a collection of particles, as in our being, affects every other particle. All of our actions and thoughts have ramifications throughout the universe.

The body is also constantly generating these universal scalar waves. Scalar waves are produced when two electromagnetic waves of the same frequency are exactly out of phase (opposite to each other) and the amplitudes subtract and cancel or destroy each other. The result is not exactly an annihilation of magnetic fields but a transformation of energy back into a scalar wave. This scalar field has reverted back to a vacuum state of potentiality. Scalar waves can be created by wrapping electrical wires around a figure eight in the shape of a möbius coil. When an electric current flows through the wires in opposite directions, the opposing electromagnetic fields from the two wires cancel each other and create a scalar wave.

The DNA antenna in our cells’ energy production centers (mitochondria) assumes the shape of what is called a super-coil.3 Supercoil DNA look like a series of möbius coils. These möbius supercoil DNA are hypothetically able to generate scalar waves. Most cells in the body contain thousands of these möbius supercoils, which are generating scalar waves throughout the cell and throughout the body.

There is another möbius coil configuration found within the vascular system. The continuous flow of blood through the arterial system—which runs next to the venous system but in opposite directions—contains möbius coil properties. The circulation of blood throughout the body resembles the figure-eight shape of the möbius coil.

Within the vascular möbius coil there are subsets of the figure eight along the major capillary networks. These major capillary networks are associated with primary organs and are related to the endocrine glands and correspond to the chakra energy centers.

The electrical activity of the heart muscle sets up its electromagnetic field, the strongest field of the body. It is at the heart that the center of the vascular möbius coil is found: an intersection of venous blood passing through the right atrium, overlapping aortic blood coming through the left atrium.

The möbius coil intersection occurs just in front of the lungs, which contain a huge web-like network of capillary connections. This capillary network acts as a battery for the storage of scalar waves.

Scalar waves generated in the body protect us from the negative effects of solar radiation and other environmental electromagnetic stresses by constantly producing a neutral field capable of deflecting these harmful non-bio-energetically compatible frequencies. Scalar waves generated in the body also provide an energetic communication system that connects all cells. This energy contains the power of the universe and has unlimited potential.

In the scalar vacuum state this energy is susceptible to our thoughts and feelings. Our cells react to environmental signals as well as to our thoughts. Cells move toward growth signals and away from life-threatening stimuli.4 Cells naturally move outwardly in growth and replication but are forced to retract or conserve their energy when repairing or feeling attacked. A cell cannot be in growth and protection mode at the same time. If our tissues and organs perceive a need for protection due to our negative thoughts, they will compromise their growth behavior.4 Chronic protection leads to a disruption of the tissue and its function.4 Our positive mental attitude is communicated through the scalar field generated by thousands of möbius coils at the cellular level and can effect the cell’s mode of growth or protection. Scientists have created scalar wave generators for therapeutic purposes and have confirmed that a scalar field can create a twenty-fold stimulation of cell growth in human immune system cells.5 Clinical trials indicate a variety of other health benefits, including improvement of symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, cognitive impairments, and sleep disorders. 6

Thoughts and emotions have an electromagnetic frequency vibration that is perceived by every cell in the body through the instant communication system of scalar waves. Negative thoughts and emotions can interfere with the electromagnetic, biophoton signaling at the cellular membrane and DNA levels. When this happens, the communication signals become chaotic and cellular information and instructions for enzyme and protein formation become blocked. The same thing happens when you are trying to get a clear picture on your television set. The TV antenna must be pointed in the direction of the transmitted incoming signal. Without this focussing you only get static. When you turn your attention away from the source (the Spirit or quantum energy source) by focusing on negative thoughts and emotions, your cells and DNA receive and transmit static. In this case, your cells lose the signal or instructions on what to do and they become chaotic or uneasy, as in ‘dis-ease.’

If you look at the source of negative thoughts and emotions, in all cases you will find that the root cause is “fear.” When you allow fear to interfere (enter-fear) with your DNA signaling, you are traveling down the path of cellular degeneration. The opposite of fear is love. Unconditional love is the emotional quality or feeling associated with having a connection with the “Universal Creative Energy.” Love is the highest positive energy. It transcends all other feelings and emotions. Love is the energy and power of God or the Source of what keeps us alive. When we are connected to the highest expression of love, there is no room for fear. With love there is trust – trust in our abilities and ourselves; trust in the Divine plan. You can love someone without trusting them, but you cannot have trust without love. Having fear means you have become out of step with Trust and Love.

To remedy this, the first step is to identify the negative thought or emotion. What is it you are thinking about that weakens you and disrupts your DNA communication system? What is the situation or person that causes this reaction in you? The way we react to an event is recorded in our molecular matrix. If each cell contains all of the information for the whole organism, then our experiences, good or bad, are also recorded on a cellular level. Those experiences that we perceive as life threatening may continue to resonate within the memory banks of the body’s crystalline cellular and molecular matrix because we were not able to resolve the conflict or dissipate its energy. This matrix memory can alter our beliefs about ourselves and consequently our behavior as a result of the earlier, traumatic experience. This can cause us to feel disempowered, have low self-esteem, or feel unloved. These feelings all have a resonant frequency signature that vibrates throughout our being. This energetic disturbance can upset neurohormonal pathways in our body and constrict the energetic flow to cells, DNA, organ tissue, muscle tissue, and other systems in our body.

When we can identify the source of the upset and reduce it to the underlying fear, we take the first step towards shifting the fear into trust. This can be as simple as changing the channel on your television set. If you don’t like what you are watching you can always grab the remote and change the channel to something more uplifting. Likewise, we can change the channel of what we think about and the external conditions also change. Once we change then our spouse, child, friend, or the negative situation can change next. Just change the channel of what you and your DNA resonate with and you change your reality. It is like two prisoners gazing out from behind bars – one sees mud and the other sees stars. We have the choice about what we believe about ourselves. Our positive self-image defines what we become.

Often we are not able to identify the upset or past trauma. In this case, it may not be as easy as just changing the channel of our thoughts. Even though many of these issues have been long forgotten, subconsciously, our behavior is still shaped by them. Our molecular and cellular matrix remembers the painful experience and may cause us to avoid situations that seem similar for fear of reenacting the experience. Poor health often results. In addition, this constricted energy many times affects our habits and perceptions in negative ways. For example, often our misperceptions lead us to actions that create obstacles that keep us from achieving our highest possibilities. We develop unworkable relationships due to negative actions or we block our professional goals because of low self-esteem. Our beliefs about ourselves sabotage our creativity and general well-being.

Scalar Heart ConnectionTM is a systems that safely identifies these emotional trauma patterns in our energy matrix. These processes use a ‘strong’ muscle indicator response or a ‘weak’ muscle indicator response to systematically identify the constricted scalar flow in the body and the unresolved subconscious conflicts that created the energetic constriction. A series of strong and weak muscle indicator responses provides a holographic picture of the inner conflicts that affect scalar waves and influence our behavior in sometimes self-sabotaging ways.

Once identified, these negative emotional patterns can be released from the system by using various energetic techniques aimed at the specific energy frequency that needs to be dissipated or repatterned. Once you let go of the emotional distress, your thoughts and actions are no longer influenced by subconscious self-sabotaging influences. The unresolved earlier traumatic experience finds resolution and the negative mind talk is replaced with a positive outlook. This allows for a new internal motivation where life becomes meaningful and you have a clear sense of purpose. Without the influence of the negative patterns from the past you harmoniously resolve differences in your relationships. Problems are seen as opportunities for growth and improvement. You’re empowered by challenges. You respond to life with trust, confidence, calmness, courage and positive action. You feel energized and have a sense of physical well-being.7

In conclusion, our positive beliefs and intentions act to enhance the body’s natural flow of scalar energy primarily produced by the heart, vascular system and supercoil DNA. Scalar waves provide a zero-point or vacuum field of unlimited potential. This field neutralizes chaotic incoming signals from the environment and from our negative thoughts, thereby allowing our cells to utilize their own innate wisdom for self-healing. Techniques such as Scalar Heart ConnectionTM allow us to shift the negative thoughts and unconscious limiting beliefs that create the energetic patterns that induce chaotic vibrations into the body’s scalar field. When the scalar field resonates with life-enhancing vibrations all the cells in the body also experience growth signals leading to optimal health and vitality.

Motion Sickness

Motion sickness is a normal response to real, perceived, or even anticipated movement. People tend to get motion sickness on a moving boat, train, airplane, car, or amusement park rides. Although this condition is fairly common and often only a minor nuisance, it may be incapacitating for people who travel frequently. Signs and Symptoms:
The most common signs and symptoms of motion sickness include:

Nausea

Paleness of the skin

Cold sweats

Vomiting

Dizziness

Headache

Increased salivation

Fatigue

Causes:
Motion sickness occurs when the body, the inner ear, and the eyes send conflicting signals to the brain. This most often happens when a person is in a moving vehicle such as a car, boat, or airplane, but it may also happen on flight simulators or amusement park rides. From inside a ship's cabin, the inner ear may sense rolling motions that the eyes cannot see, and, conversely, the eyes may see movement on a "virtual reality" simulation ride that the body does not feel. Interestingly, once a person gets used to the movement and the motion stops, symptoms may return (although usually only briefly). Sometimes just anticipating movement can cause anxiety and symptoms of motion sickness. For example, a person who had previously had motion sickness might become nauseous on an airplane before take-off. Preventive Care:
There are several ways you can try to prevent motion sickness: Sit in the front seat of a car. If flying sit in the front of the aircraft or in a seat by the wing. On a boat, ask for a cabin on the upper deck or toward the front of the ship.

Keep your eyes on the horizon. Don't read.

Rest your head against the seat back, to keep it still.

Turn the air vents toward your face.

Don't smoke.

Avoid spicy, greasy, or fatty meals.

Don't overeat.

Drink plenty of water.

Dry crackers and carbonated drink (such as ginger ale) help some people avoid nausea.

Treatments:
You can use medication to control your symptoms, but may cause drowsiness and impair judgment. People who travel often will want to learn to control -- and eventually prevent -- these symptoms. Mind-body practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and biofeedback, may help. Other alternatives to medication include homeopathy, acupuncture, dietary changes, and physical exercise. Herbs
Herbs are generally a safe way to strengthen and tone the body's systems. As with any therapy, you should work with your health care provider to get your problem diagnosed before starting any treatment.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) standardized extract, 250 mg three times daily as needed, for symptoms of nausea. Ginger is a traditional remedy for nausea, and some studies show it may help with motion sickness -- although others find it has no benefit.

Peppermint (Mentha piperita) standardized extract, 1 enteric coated tablet two to three times daily as needed. You may also make a tea of the leaf.

Black horehound (Ballotta nigra), 1 - 2 ml as a tincture or 1 -2 tsp. of leaves steeped as a tea, taken three times per day. This is a traditional remedy for motion sickness, but no scientific studies have been done to test the benefits.

Acupuncture
Studies show that acupressure may help reduce symptoms of motion sickness in the same way as acupuncture. We have found that the 8ight holographic discs can also have the same effect as acupuncture or acupressure when feeling motion sickness., The acupuncture point known as Pericardium 6, traditionally has been said to help relieve nausea. It is located on the inside of the wrist, about the length of 2 finger widths up the arm from the center of the wrist crease. Many travel stores sell wrist bands with built in buttons designed to apply acupressure to this point, but the 8ight band is much more convenient and easier to wear without calling attention to the fact that you are prone to motion sickness.

Mind-Body Medicine

Biofeedback Training and Relaxation
In a study of 55 pilots who had to stop flying due to motion sickness, 76% of them successfully overcame their motion sickness and were able to return to work after participating in a biofeedback training and relaxation program. The pilots were exposed to a situation causing motion sickness (sitting in a tilting, rotating chair) while biofeedback instruments recorded skin temperature and changes in muscle tension. While in the chair, the pilots used relaxation techniques, such as deep muscle relaxation and mental imagery. Over time, the pilots became used to the rotating chair and no longer felt sick as they learned to relax.
