Research on the biology of Acupuncture has met the gold standard of science with multiple independently confirmed research. Because the holograms by 8ight use thermal transduction to stimulate acupuncture points it meets the World Health Organizations definition of acupuncture and therefore relates to acupuncture studies.

Holograms have multiple applications, from providing authentication tags to preventing counterfeiting. They can be found everywhere on credit cards, driver’s license, passports and banknotes.
